One of the most fascinating research areas is the intersection of art and science. Although these are traditionally regarded as separate disciplines, we can learn from each other’s practices.

This research has led to the introduction of a first year DVM clinical skills lab on ‘the art of observation’ in collaboration with Remai Modern. As well as being a veterinarian, I have a Certificate in Visual Design from the University of Calgary.
